Amniotic Fluid
Amniotic fluid is the protective liquid inside the amniotic sac, also known as the bag of waters, that surrounds your baby during pregnancy. When the membranes that make up the sac rupture, this is known as your water breaking and is generally a sign that labor is imminent.
