Tricks For Getting Your Kids To Sleep Through The Night
"Are they sleeping through the night yet?" New parents start hearing that question when their babies are just a few months old, but veteran moms and dads know that it can take a lot longer. According to the National Sleep Foundation, about 70-80% of babies will sleep through the night by 9 months of age.
We put a lot of pressure on ourselves to get our kids to meet that milestone as soon as possible (for our own well-being as much as theirs). But experienced parents of multiple children will also tell you that there's a lot of luck involved. In many ways, your kid is either a sleeper... or they aren't.
That doesn't mean we have to be slaves to a non-sleeper, though. Although kids have natural tendencies in regards to sleep, there are steps we can take to help the process along. Whether you're sleep training a baby, a toddler, or an older child, you'll find several strategies for sweet dreams right here.
